Does your indoor cat love to play with cardboard boxes?

If so, you’re onto a great recycling (Upcycling) and DIY cost saving solution!! My new kitten loves to play with boxes so I recently decided to create a cat-house out of boxes for her. I was inspired by a trend going on called Upcycling. Upcycling is the process of converting waste materials or useless products into new materials or products of better quality or for better environmental value.

DIY Cat-House Process

In my weekend UPCYCLE project I took old boxes and made a fun, nature inspired, camouflage cat-house for my kitten, Luna. It also was a solution for where to hide her litter box. I have a small dog, so it’s important for me to have a cat-only place for the litter box.
